Family Night!

The Girls have been wanting to go camping and roast Hot Dogs and Marshmallows, so with the last few NICE days of fall left we decided we better do it! We went to a beautiful lake that has fire pits all around it and it was beautiful, the girls had a blast.

Kaylee thought that she was the best "cooker" because she was able to start the marshmallows on fire first!!

We told the girls stories of when we were young and would go camping. The girls thought that was great and kept on wanting more and more stories! Too bad you can't remember everything from your childhood!

Kaylee's Soccer

This was Kaylee's first year of soccer. Some of her friends wanted her to play and she said she would as long as Dad would be her coach! So TJ coached his first soccer team and he did a great job. The kids had fun and we were actually pretty good! A few of the kids even made TJ a thank you card and dropped it by with cookies or cupcakes, I couldn't believe that the parents even thought to do that!
Kaylee wasn't your most aggressive player but I'm sure with a little coaching from her Dad that will come!

Kaylee's Birthday!!!

Kaylee just had her 5th B-Day and she absolutely loved and enjoyed every minute of it!! She was so excited she could hardly sleep at night because of all the anticipation!

Malia on the other hand didn't think that it's always easy to NOT be the B-Day Girl!

Kaylee was extra sweet though and let Malia open a lot of her presents!

We let Kaylee have a little Party and invite some of her friends! She wanted a Strawberry Shortcake party and I think the Pinata and the cake turned out pretty cute!!

Happy Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Susan, We love you! If any of you know me very well you know about Aunt Susan!! Ever since I was little Aunt Susan has been a very special part of my life. We have so many memories of being with her and each memory is very special and fun. We started when we were little going to spend the weekend with her, feeding the ducks, going to 49th Street Galleria, shopping, trips to Idaho and New York City and then lately trips to her cabin! She is now creating lots of memories for my little girls and they already love Aunt Susan!! We got to spend a weekend with her recently up at her cabin and my girls loved every second of it. The toy room was like Christmas morning, they went on a nature walk, rode in the canoe, had a tea party with tiny gourmet cupcakes and played American Idol. They loved every second of it and Susan has a way of making each kid feel so special and loved! There is no way that we will ever be able to repay all that she has done for us but we hope she knows that we love her and are so glad she is such an important part of our lives! Happy Birthday! We love you!!!

The Last 2 Months

Man, this blog stuff makes you realize how much you don't keep everyone posted on what is going on!! Time flies. I'll try to do a quick update.
Since the last post my Dad flew me home for a quick trip to go to Aaron & Traci's baby blessing.
TJ took care of the kids for the weekend and did a great job and I was able to have some time to myself along with spending time with family, it was great to see everyone!
We had TJ's B-Day which my cousin Justin got to spend with us because he had an overnight business trip here and so it was fun to have him come and see us.
Kaylee learned to ride her bike without training wheels!! She's been wanting to do it for a while but we haven't gotten around to it. It only took her 2 days before she could completely do it all by herself! She's done awesome but we have had quite a few bumps and bruises since then. She's tough though and always wants to get right back on!
And just this last Sunday we were sitting in our small branch of 30 people and I look behind me and see some familiar faces! TJ's Aunt and Uncle Randy and Jill happened to be traveling through and happened to stop at our little church!! What a coincidence. They were able to spend the afternoon with us and it was so fun to have them in our home!
We have Kaylee's B-Day next week, TJ is still trying to finish the toy room, we need to paint the baby's room and continue to get ready for the baby to come!
